9th International Conference on Web Engineering

The Ninth International Conference on Web Engineering (ICWE 2009) will be held in June 2009 in San Sebastian, Spain. ICWE 2009 aims at promoting practical and scientific excellence on Web Engineering and at bringing together practitioners, and researchers working in technologies, methodologies, tools, and techniques used to develop and maintain Web-based applications leading to better applications and systems, and thus to enabling and improving the dissemination and use of content and services through the Web. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag as an LNCS volume. Official proceedings will include: full papers (15 pages), demonstration papers (4 pages) and posters (4 pages). Workshop papers and contributions to the doctoral consortium will be published separately. Springer Logo

Journal Of Web Engineering Logo Selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to a special issue of the Journal Of Web Engineering.

Prof. Dr. James Hendler and Dr. Juan Jose Hierro confirmed as keynote speakers. Prof. Hendler is the President of the Semantic Web Science Association and Editor-in-Chief emeritus of IEEE Intelligent Systems. Dr. Hierro is a chief R&D project manager at Telefonica, one of the main telecomunication companies worldwide.
